The Tea Room

G suggested we try The Tea Room in QVB for a nice late Sunday breakfast. We were dressed very casually when we wandered up to the well hidden cafe, only to discover it is quite a fancy large tea room. It was full of baby showers, Christmas parties and family get-togethers. We sat down at a lounge since all the tables were booked and ordered the Sparkling Afternoon Tea.

The Sparkling Afternoon Tea had a selection of cakes and pastries, finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and very good tea. It was also served with a starter glass of Australian sparkling wine. G had an Orange Pekoe and I had my fave Russian Caravan tea. All that for $35 each. It was not the breakfast I expected but it was fun and filling :o)
